I just baked these and forgot (!) the melted butter/margerine. They still came out moist and delicious. Will make these again, with all ingredients next time.

I absolutely LOVE these muffins!! I altered the recipe a bit by doubling it, then adding half pumpkin and half applesauce, yum! And the second time I used your recipe w/o pumpkin or raisins, and instead used pureed Apple and Acorn Squash soup and they turned out terrific. You win the Most Moist Muffin Award! lol. Making 4 more batches tonight (am due baby #2 in 2 weeks and am stocking up freezer! they freeze beautifully!) thank you!

I've already made the pumpkin, banana, and the cranberry muffins are in the oven now. Thank you so much, there's a flavor for every one of my kids, and myself of course!! There're all so good, and I'll be using these recipes very often!!! Thank you again!!

I live in the UK and grew pumpkins on my allotment this year because there was a pack of last year's seeds going cheap at the allotment shop. First came the wonder of watching the plant take over my patch. Then the discovery that the shade from the pumpkin leaves was stopping my little okra plants dying out and finally, I had to cope with the apparently sudden arrival of mad, massive pumpkins in the middle of my potato bed.

Neither my husband or I like eating pumpkin so, while we were hugely amused by these invaders, we had no idea what we were going to do with our harvest. I trawled through the net for pumpkin muffin recipes and settled on this one. The positive comments did it for me. And for my friends. They absolutely loved this, my first attempt at pumpkin cookery. I used a food processor to shred the pumpkin and used about 400g. Also used golden raisins. Fantastic to have a recipe that worked so well, first time. Will definitely be back to your site.

Now that I've looked around your site, I see that you are Canadian! As an experienced cook you would definitely be well acquainted with the ounces and milliliters thing! I find myself a bit boggled on exact conversions, but there is usually room for leeway. Growing up there was a gap between the metric conversion taught at school and the imperial system used by my parents. I don't think I got a good feel for either system as a whole, so I'm always looking up conversions.

Thanks for the great recipe!
