I was having a hard time coming up with an idea of what to blog about tonight, so I decided to blog about what I have been doing lately, and LOVING!   Making jewelry!   Surprised?   Hah!

I was in the St. Jacob’s Gecko Beads Shop today, and learned that the shop owner offers classes in lampwork, so I am planning to take lessons in the next month!   Should be a lot of fun…the possibilities seem so vast in being able to create your own beads from melted glass.   The colours are rich and vibrant, and the design possibilities seem endless.

In the meantime, I have a busy few weeks coming up.   In addition to kid wrangling, two jewelry shows, bead shopping excursions, and family celebrations, I’m in for a hectic (but fun) next little patch.   I am eagerly awaiting the coming of Christmas, trying to restrain myself for a few more weeks from putting up the tree, and hoping to find some new ways of growing my business as the New Year rolls in.   I am going to be doing some home shows for friends and acquaintances, as well as an open house here at my home in December – we’ll see where things lead but it’s all good so far!
