Simple Recipes for Busy Living
We found ourselves at one of our favorite locations in the world this morning…the pumpkin patch! We met up with friends and had a great time exploring the place with many babies and toddlers (our Baby Basics group has grown since we all had our babies together in 2004!)
Such a happy place to visit…I look forward to a couple more visits this season before the chilly days of winter ahead!
Life is BUSY! I’m really not sure why I thought that having two children wouldn’t really be all that much extra work than having one. Double the diapers, double the mess, double the crying, double the night wakings…you get the point! No one explained to me that 1+1=2 (more like 4 as my Uncle Jody recently told me!) when it comes to kids!
I am struggling to find the time to do anything besides wrangle children these days, as my oldest learns to use the potty, my youngest is into absolutely everything as she learns to walk and move, and I try to keep up with the two of them which renders me absolutely exhausted by the end of each day. I want to work on my store, exercise more, read more, watch grown-up t.v. shows and do so many other things that I just can’t seem to find the time for. Ah, one day I’m sure I will look back on this busy time as some of the best years of my life, but being in the midst of them, they just seem like a blur!
My blog is for now, taking the back burner. I long for the time to post daily, but for now, I suppose I will need to be content with getting to it *whenever* possible.
Finding the time for me again will happen some day, slowly, and until then, I will try my best to enjoy the busy and take time to at least breathe!
Yeah! It’s finally here. My CatCanCook store has been posted tonight! I am WAY excited about this new addition to my web-site. Now, not only do I have somewhere to showcase and sell my designs, I have more of a reason to continue something I truly, truly love…beading! Check it out, and tell me what you think! Come back and visit often. New designs will be appearing all the time…I have so much more to photograph and post, but we’re doing things bit-by-bit so please check back soon to see what’s new!

Yup, that’s right, we’re almost there! The CatCanCook Store is almost ready! As some of you already know, I am going to be posting a few of my jewelry-making kits, and some of my hand-made creations this week on my web-site. I am often asked where I get my jewelry, and when I answer “I made it!” the response is usually “well, you should sell your work…it’s very good!” Ah, if only I had the time to craft and play beads all day! It really is a passion of mine and friends and family say it shows in my designs!
