Pineapple Cheese Ball

It’s not all that often that I post appetizer recipes, so today I thought I would post this crowd-pleasing cheese ball recipe. It’s YUMMY – and it freezes very well. If you prefer, make it into two smaller balls, and freeze one for later.

Pineapple Cheese Ball

2-8 ounch packages cream cheese
8 1/2 ounces crushed pineapple, drained well
4 ounces pecans, crushed
1/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped
1/4 cup onion, minced
1 TBSP seasoning salt
2 ounces pecans, crushed

Mix together the first six ingredients and blend well. Shape into a ball, and roll in the remaining 2 ounces of pecans. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap, and chill overnight. Serve with crackers, bread sticks..etc.

We are not good at appetizers and have been fretting “‘what if we have to take an appetizer to this week’s potluck?”. And here’s the answer, right on your blog. Sounds delicious.
