A wonderful weekend was spent at Bass Lake with family! Here is a glimpse of what we did…
We spent most of our time out at Mom and Dad’s place, a bit of time at the Wiarton Harbour, and the park, and also went to a tree planting ceremony honouring loved-ones who we’ve lost this past year. A lovely ceremony, and a lovely weekend all around.
I can’t believe you were in swimming this past weekend. I’m glad you had such a nice weekend with your mom and dad. Take care.
Yeah…it was C-O-L-D!!! There are some funny pictures of me just having jumped into the water…they are really *un-flattering* though, so I didn’t post them! I saw your marathon pics on Facebook…way to go Erin!!! Hoping to see you up in Tobermory this summer!
On the basis of these lovely photos taken in our “yard”, can I shamelessly advertise *House for Sale, comes with own canoe*?
This morning the loons were calling. Loudest I ever heard them in our eleven years at the lake. And a rose breasted grosbeak has been drinking at my birdbath today.
We will miss views in both directions as the forest view is every bit as enchanting as the lake, but it is time for us to move on. So many people read Catherine’s blog, I thought I would put out the word that Moo Alley is looking for a new owner. – Sheila
What? Your parents are moving? That is so sad. I have only been to their house once, but loved all of it. Where are they thinking of going?
These are some great pics. You look fabulous.
My parents came from Ontario, moved to the US and have missed the beauty of Canada. Thank you for sharing these photos. It is a beautiful spot in the world.
