There are so many variations on this casserole, I bet you’ll have everything you need in your house *right now* to make this for tonight’s dinner! I will list the most common ingredients that I have used, and then a few substitution ideas as well (in case you’re stuck in a cooking rut) You can mix it up, make different combinations and even add ingredients as you wish! So EASY, so GOOD!

Easy Layered Casserole Recipe

1 Pound Ground Beef or Turkey, Browned

1 Medium Onion, Chopped Fine

1 Cup Cooked Pasta, Rice or Potatoes (cooked/cubed)

1 Cup Frozen Vegetables (any variety or mixture of: corn, peas, beans, carrots..etc.)

1 Can Soup (Cream of Mushroom, Celery, Tomato, Chicken)

1/2 Cup Milk

Optional: Shredded Cheese to top

Salt and Pepper to taste

Brown meat and onion. Place in bottom of an ungreased casserole dish.   Layer remaining ingredients in order given.   Bake at 375 degrees for about an hour, til bubbly and hot!   Serve with a side salad or fresh warm bread!
