Well, things are well underway here! My water broke at around 9 p.m. last night, in exactly the same way it did with Liam, and I am writing this post between contractions. Looks like Baby’s birthday is going to be sometime today (October 17, 2006)
Funny how in any given family, there often seem to be multiple people with the same birthday. My late Grandfather, Chester Smith was also born on this day. I never got the chance to meet him, but from what my Mom and Grandmother tell me, he was a warm, kind man with a wonderful sense of humour. I only hope our daughter has these same traits 😀

Catherine, I knew something was up! Neighbours seem to have that sixth sense when routines change. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers – the safe arrival of baby girl Robertson…finally, and may you find rest over the next few hours,days, weeks. Looking forward to the next posting.
