We had a great lunch today at the South St. Burger Co. in Burlington, Ontario. What a delicious meal – and even better we got to try the food “on the house” so that I could review it!

We were greeted by very friendly staff, the burgers were fresh and delicious, there were countless interesting toppings including flavoured mayonnaise and ketchup and the entire experience was so much fun! Our children loved it too, especially the New York Fries and overall it was just a great place to get a burger.

I think my favorite thing about the Burger Company is that the meat used is 100% free of antibiotics and hormones – gotta love that in this day and age of mysterious meat additives!

The chain itself seems to still be relatively new to Ontario, but I’m hoping there might be one headed for Guelph. I love that there’s a place where you can get a good, fresh burger, as good as homemade for about the same price as your everyday fast food. My family gives it a thumbs up!
