Crock Pot Chili Sauce

1 28 ounce can diced tomatoes
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup vinegar
1 large onion, chopped fine
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp ginger
sprinkle of chili peppers (or more if you like it hot!)

Put all ingredients into crock pot. Set to low heat, and cook 6-8 hours, stirring intermittently. Goes nicely with macaroni & cheese or roast beef.
