Tis the season of the crock pot! Tonight for a super easy dinner, I prepared this meal using ingredients I almost always have on hand. The ground beef was already cooked and I had portioned it out into a freezer bag, so I just thawed it and added to it as my starting point. Here is what I came up with for the delicious creamy sauce. You can serve it with either noodles or rice.
Simple Crock Pot Stroganoff
1 pound ground beef + 1 small onion, browned
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
10 button mushrooms, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
fresh ground pepper
5 cups hot cooked broad noodles
In the crock pot, combine meat and onion with parsley, green pepper, mushrooms, soup, milk, sour cream and pepper, and stir well. Set to high, and cook for about 1 1/2 hours. Spoon over hot cooked noodles and serve.
Loved it!!!! Cooked the recipe last night and it was very easy to do and tasted great! The only thing I added was some salt.
That was now my second recipe I tried from your site in the last 4 days 🙂
So glad I found your site last Sunday when I was searching for a new banana muffins recipe – which by the way was one of the best banana muffins I ever did so far!!!!
Thank you!!!!!!
You have a terrific website and it’s on my favourites. I started visiting you after finding your banana muffin recipe – which has to be the best. Now my daughter deliberately doesn’t eat the bananas so I can make your recipe. Your beef stroganoff is being made yet again tonight. Thanks…and keep up the good work.
